Hello everyone. I only recently joined HP3000-L and after several days
desided to post this message.

I first started using an HP 3000 Classic machine is 1991. I worked
with HP systems (up to a 927or 937) for about 4 years. All this while
working for Lockheed Martin at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.

In 1995 I got another job again at NASA and worked there for 3 years
using IBM RS/6000's with AIX and various IBM mainframes. No HP's
to be had unfortunately.

Well I got back to my roots this past January when I started a new job
where once again I have an HP 3000, but this time its an HP 979 model.
Nice machine.

Well I'm attempting to place my HP3000 on the WAN thru an IP interface, but
I need some help configuring the system. I'd be interested in seeing any
papers detailing steps or technigues on how to do this if any exist. I've
hit a few snags and it seems that the easiest solution is to rebuild my
NMCONFIG from scratch since somone used the "backfill" feature on it.
