You are correct in saying that there is much mis-information and
innuendo relating to ODBC and your response to the various common
criticisms of it was both informative and interesting; I'm sure many in
the group will have benefited from your knowledge.

It was always my intention in this thread to promote J2EE as an
enterprise scalable platform-neutral migration infrastructure for HP3000
users, not to denigrate ODBC as a viable technology in its own right.
