AMISYS will be the only 'major' app running on the HP9000. That is,
aside from all the reporting that will be done. We have lots of MPEX,
COBOL and Powerhouse surround code supporting the AMISYS app. We also
have job streams that use Q-EDIT, SUPRTOOL, ASKPLUS, Taurus Warehouse,
the list goes on. Home-grown screens, reports, processes, workflows,
etc.

This migration, if/when we do it, will be a LOT tougher than Y2K. Or
HIPAA, for that matter.

        Eben-

This isn't much of an answer, but it's what I've learned so far.
Will
Amisys be the only application on the box? I'm learning that
Unix doesn't
manage multiple applications nearly as well as MPE does. Some
"veterans"
of both platforms have told me to get a Unix box for each
application. I
don't know if it's that extreme, but it's food for thought.

        Hope all is well.
