Just received updated SIGMPE enhancement request
ballot from Interex (which now has readable descriptions).
Our site is still working on team consensus $100 vote
for the overall list; probably will not get that to Tony until
just before 28 March deadline; but throw out a few prelim
comments which hopefully might help people not waste
any of their "dollars" while voting (assuming I have all my
facts straight; think I do; someone call me wrong if not):

SIG ID: 95F01 -- >4GB file limits.
This is already a done deal, right ??.... Says so in recently
received SIGIMAGE ballot and other places. If so, no need
to vote for it again; it should be removed from the voting
list (like SIGIMAGE does when HP has committed to do
the enhancement).

SIG ID: 95F02 -- UNPURGE command.
Maybe some users want this facility in the OS; I just note
******** PLUG ALERT ********
that the TRASHMAN Nugget from SRN already does this.
******** END PLUG ********
IMHO better to have HP concentrate on some of the other
things that probably only HP can do.......

SIG ID: 95F03 -- Wildcard COPY and PURGE.
Well, there is already DSCOPY... and wildcard
PURGEFILE can be done with a command file;
**** Semi-Plug Alert ****
we have a 90-line script that does PF pretty well (and
carefully); I can post a copy if anyone wants to see it.
**** End Semi-Plug ****
So same humble opinion as immediately above applies.

SIG ID: 95P04 -- Break IMAGE deadly embrace.
Enhancement list had "UNDEDLOK/iX ?"....... Why the
"?" ?: UNDEDLOK is real; we've used it; it works; it's
good; it solves the problem. This one should definitely
disappear from the list; no need to waste voting $$.....
