   I'm not at all familiar with the Http server or Berkley Sockets, so the
following is strictly a guess...
 
   Since the problem appears to be tied to NetBase, have you tried to run
NBDIR in order to add a "Program" statement with the ";NONB" option?  In the
past, I've had several programs which would work perfectly until NetBase
entered the equation, at which time I would usually see programs lock-up or
abort.  By adding a "Program" statement with the "NONB" option, I've been able
to fix the problems.  Since it only takes a few seconds to add or remove, I'd
give it a try if you haven't already.
