Wendell asks several questions concerning SLT's..
1. Yes, they can be made with users on-line. Process can be either
interactive or in batch. I prefer batch jobs so that terminals are not
tied up.
2. Putting additional files on the SLT is, in my opinion, is site and
application
specific.
3. System and user-volume directories, again in my opinion, belong on
backups
which are more current and should be done with the ;DIRECTORY option.
