Just for clarification:  access to the HP through Telnet has
one important limitation, it will not allow the viewing of block
mode screens.  Also, a PC server going down will not affect
 
But we connect thru to our HP3000 via a Telnet Access Card (TAC) in a
DTC72MX, and we run Qedit in Block Mode.
So I don't think this is completely accurate.
