I am having a problem with a data item in a dataset that was
updated incorrectly. I extracted the dataset and used quad
to make the corrections to the data item. I now want to add
the data items back with a run
query.pub.sys;stdin=tempfile.data . My problem comes with a
data item that is type x254 and when I try to add back in
this method it fails to add past 80 characters. Is there a
way to get the stdin redirect to read past the 80 character
limit. I also tried a query delete with a save option and
then modify that file and use dbgeneral 7.2.12 to add back
the file to the dataset but it failed.
Thanks for any help.
