As HP support (which I am still on, and which has still been good) draws to
a close, and the migration-natives get restless (again), its time to
ask ---- how long can you promise to provide hardware support for the hp3000
?
Specifically, support for an A500 with dds3 tape drive, 2 internal HDs, dtc,
ups, and not much else.
Please, answers like "indefinitely" or "no fixed end in sight" won't really
help me reassure those who think we have to bail because the hardware is
about to croak and spare parts won't be available.
I'm hoping for answers like "we can provide x-hour on-site support at least
thru mm-dd-yyyy".
Preferably 4-hour. We are in the "south bay" suburbs of LA, so that should
be within the capabilities of some of you.
