Many good points raised.

However, as far as I know, there is not a single software product from HP
that is tied to an HPSUSAN number - apart from certain components of
SYSDIAG, which may or may not require a SUPLICEN code to continue to run.

So, while your DR machine may not be officially "licensed" to run HP
software, it should still all work after the proper system recovery tasks
have been performed on your DR machine - at least as far as all HP software
is concerned.

Many of your 3rd-party software products will either only run a few days or
weeks more or cease to run altogether on the DR machine - until properly
re-licensed.
