Specialized Markets Sr. Account Executive - Aliso Viejo, CA

Senior inside technical sales position responsible for selling Quest's market leading MPE, Networking and Diagnostic solutions in a large geographic territory. Keys to success: Maintain current revenue and focus on identifying new opportunities to increase market share and revenue growth. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers. Create and implement account strategy. Recognize customer business problems and drive/influence resources to address opportunities. Obtain customer commitment and deliver a total solution working with existing installed base customers, prospective customers and support renewals. As the Migration leader with over 100 migrations performed. Develop a strategy to Open Systems second to none with tools in both MPE and Open Systems environments.

Minimum Requirements:

*       3-5 years successful software sales experience 

*       Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills 

*       Exceptional written and oral communications skills 

*       Knowledge of solution and value-based selling techniques 

*       Ability to complete weekly metrics to ensure successful performance 

*       Must be self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed 

*       Knowledge of High-Availability, Disaster Recovery, Networking, Output Management and Middleware solutions is a plus 

*       BS/BA required 

Preferred Requirements:

*       Inside or Field sales experience selling enterprise software, preferably C-Level, Operations & Network Management levels
