Unfortunately true for the OS macros and symbols.

So, check your INTERNAL OS version:

:showme
USER: #S3,MANAGER.SYS,PUB (NOT IN BREAK)
RELEASE: X.50.20 MPE/iX HP31900 B.76.22 USER VERSION: X.50.20
                                  ^^^^^^^

Then look for the macro/symbol group that corresponds (using the 1st
letter and the 2 middle numbers); in this case it is "OSB76.TELESUP".
Purge any other OSA## and OSB## groups which you find in the TELESUP
account.

Another often seen disc space glutton is old memory dumps. IF YOU DO
NOT USE DUMP TO DISK (which requires pre-built dump files), then
purge any files in the TELESUP acount that end in "MEM". They are
typically found in the "PATCHXL" group (home for user "MGR") or the
"DAT" group (where we like to have them placed) but they may even
be found in the SYS account. The file is built in your logon group
and account by the "GETDUMP" command in the "DAT" program.

I try to clean up old dump files every time I log onto a system and
purge the one I am working on when I'm done. But we all forget from
time to time.

I hope this information helps. Disc space is much cheaper than it
used to be but it is still not cheap.
