I believe that this is the case with everyone (except for
a few experimental sites, such as Adager).  Even we, at Adager,
do not use LFDS in production (our production databases are
small, after all, compared to Kent's).  We are using LFDS in
one of our test hp3000 computers, strictly for R&D purposes.

I look forward to comments from our HP friends regarding
Craig Lalley's questions:
