We have an HP3000 with DTC ports and running MPE 4.0 . We would like
to try to have people be able to log into an HP application (via
telnet or similar method) and be able to access this application over
the internet. Would appreciate any ideas on how this would be
possible. One idea might be to put an ethernet card in the HP and
then have a networked PC be a telnet host attached over a PPP line to
the internet and have people telnet into the PC which would provide
the connectivity to the HP via the LAN. I don't know if this would
work, or if there's a better way to do it. Any ideas would be
appreciated. Please post here or reply to [log in to unmask],
Thx,
Jim
