Hi,
Alas, the dd-ing of the disk, while booted from a unix-cdrom, gave up on us
with an I/O error, so we had to turn to the complete reinstall of the
system.
But next time we'll try the dd-ing again 'cuz it only took 8 minutes to copy
1,6GB of a disk of 2GB (until the I/O error). So a disk-to-disk copy whould
take a lot less time than a reinstall.
We followed the instructions of HP a bit to literarely, by doing a STORE
without the MAXTAPEBUF option, thus resulting in a longer backup (normally 1
hour 10 minutes, now 1 hour 40 min., restore 2 hours 40 min.)
