To which the Washington State Attorney General's Office responded:

Attorney General of Washington
Consumer Protection Division
PO Box 40118
Olympia WA 98504-0118

Dear Consumer,

Our office has received your e-mail. We are familiar with this
unsolicited mail from abroad. Because this scam is being run from a
foreign country, the US Secret Service is involved. Information on this
scam is on the US Secret Service's website. Their Financial Crimes Unit
is handling this case. The following appears to be the
appropriate agency of government to review your concerns, so we suggest
that you contact their office.

You may wish to visit the agency's home page, located on the World Wide
Web at:

http://www.treas.gov/usss/

Additionally, you may want to consider contacting an attorney for help
with legal questions. We are sorry that we cannot be of direct
assistance to you, but thank you for contacting this office.

Division
