My first question is, your Linux system does not accomodate QTP?
If it did, then a type 1 subfile would do the trick.
The other way would be to export the file out of the Linux system as
a fixed format file instead of a delimited csv type.  Then you build
a type 1 subfile definition and add it in that way, or force the record 
length to be one of the plain vanilla text files which are common in
most dictionaries and use DEFINE to break out the fields.  Another
way would be to used suprtool to break out the fields from the fixed
format file and PUT them into the IMAGE database that way.
