GNU HP3000 problem - tar -xovf gnu.tar failed.

I pulled down gcc from jazz.external.hp.com and when I tried to unpack it on an
MPE 5.0 machine I get the follwoing problem.


[132]tar -xovf gnu.tar
tar: blocksize = 20
/tmp/Xattributes.0: Unknown file type field value `x'
tar: checksum error on tape (got 0, expected 268f)

Any ideas.
