So.. Do you suppose this means HP is  going to Drop Unix...and concentrate just on MPE/ix and the 3000?     :)

As it says in the article, this is the group that did the work to put
HP-UX on Itanium. They also do a lot of HP-UX file system work, dynamically
loadable kernel modules, and some other key pieces of UX technology.
