Do you mean Auto Negotiate? IIRC this can slow down networks somewhat, and
we generally set PC cards top fixed speeds, and switch ports.

Subject: [HP3000-L] configuration and Connecting an HP3000 to a network
with..

I have a client that insists on setting the configuration to enable auto
sensing and has the HP connected through a switch. Is thhre a Quick and
Dirty white paper out there that will explain to this user / network manager
a "formal" standard of setting up the HP3000 to a network?

Thanks in advance
