Sometimes out DLT 8000 take a long time to backup.  Our operator write
on the sticker attached to the tape or the plastic box each time the
tape is used for backup.  We do a VSTORE to verify the tape after the
backup.  

 

We find that the tapes that get 30(I think that was the number) or more
need to be removed form the rotation cycle.  This solved the slow tape
problem.
