SuperDome - HP's way of saying we have a Unix supercomputer when you need it
(for those companies experiencing incredible growth in their unix box use...I
think it's more of a marketing thing than a technical acheivement...
AS/400 - I have no idea how well these are selling, but if Cortlandt is right
(that IBM is selling lots of 'em), If I was in HP's marketing dept, I'd have a
look over there to see what they're doing right. It sounds like they've figured
out how to sell a proprietary system in today's business environment, and even
one that IMHO is not as good a solution as the HP 3000.
(I once used a AS/400 or a month. I've used HP 3000's for 10 years, so my
experience is heavily shaded towards the 3000).

I also like to point that was made that, hey - HP - you're silently abandoning
the 3000. What will happen to HP-UX when something "Younger and more
attractive" like Linux, NT, or ??? "comes along"? (I know they're here already,
and that Unix is older).
Will HP be silent about HP-UX to push Linux?????
