Does anybody here know if the source for QUAD has ever been published, or if
it has ever been ported to any unix platforms? I have a bizarre,
uncontrollable urge to re-live my past glory days when I used to live in
3000-land.... Actually I need to do some mass-editing of some ascii data
files wherein I need to change certain text strings that lie between certain
column ranges in certain line number ranges and QUAD did this kind of thing
oh so well. Unfortunately I don't have any HP3000 machines around me anymore,
and I'd really rather not have to write dedicated "awk" editing scripts like
I normally have been doing on unix.
