Good point! What's "this" in your question? I assume you meant "Do you
have to watch the whole SERIES of programs before the HP3000's turn comes
along?"

The program lasts for half an hour and Jim Lovell interviews several
people. So, EACH interview is about five minutes. The exact same program
is broadcast at the various times listed in
http://www.adager.com/ExecForumAirings.html and watching just ONE of the
transmissions (any of them) is enough. There is no reason to do a serial
scan if you can just hash into a convenient spot in time/space :-)

All kidding aside, I am also looking forward to watching the show (using
Fred White's super-duper satellite setup at 7:00 AM on Wednesday, because
Sun Valley is not among the covered cities). These kinds of things have a
long lead time and the taping of the interview was done a while ago in New
York. I don't recall the specifics and, even though I remember the overall
feeling of the conversation, it's going to be all new to me and I have no
clue regarding WHICH material made it into the final cut. I hope their
editors chose the juiciest technical details and I hope they were not
frightened by bits and bytes :-)
