Hi all,

I am trying to install sendmail from the 1998 interex tape and am having
problems.
First problem:
:SH.HPBIN.SYS
SH.HPBIN.SYS
  ^
Too many parameters were given for this command. (CIERR 10002)
Supplied parameters do not match formal parameters. (CIERR 2039)

Fixed this by changing 'SH.HPBIN.SYS' to 'SH'. Will this cause me problems
in the future?

Second problem:

########################################################################
                 MPE/iX Shell and Utilities (A.50.02)
COPYRIGHT (c) Hewlett-Packard Company 1992, All Rights Reserved.
  ########################################################################
grep: input file "aliases": No such file or directory
rm: cannot unlink entry "newaliases": No such file or directory
/etc/sendmail.cf: line 0: cannot open: No such file or directory
  mkdir: directory "mail": File exists
cat: /etc/services: No such file or directory
cp: /etc/services: No such file or directory
  CWD is "/SYS/PUB".

Third problem:
I stream sendmail.job and get the following error:
 :RUN SENDMAIL.UTIL.SYS;INFO="-bd -q5m"
451 /etc/sendmail.cf: line 0: cannot open: No such file or directory

I think this will be fixed as soon as problem two is fixed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank for helping.
