You mention "coo", try that in Arizona at 9:00pm with the sun glaring
down on you!

As for the 4th of July; another good reason to cancel it, the fireworks
show would be an hour earlier.

I like it myself.  It gives me nice long evenings in the summer.
Mid-June
through 4th of July, when it doesn't get dark until almost 10PM, you get
2/3
of fun-in-sun-day on each work-day.  That's cool.
