we bought Time Machine after a comparison to HourGlass.

Reason: it's cheaper, much easier to handle.
Disadvantage: some 3rd Party S/W like Qedit cannot work with this (we need
another version of Qedit).

But to test our own COBOL programs, Time Machine is the easy one.

Subject: Y2K date simulation tools?

Hi all!
Does anyone have any experience or recommendations as to
a date simulation tool for Y2K testing on the HP3000? Two
that I have heard of are:
      Allegro's HourGlass 2000, and
      SolutionSoft's Time Machine.
Thanks, ahead of time, for your help!
                                      Chris
