A customer of ours recently went to renew their disaster recovery contract
with an outside vendor and was greeted with a 100% cost increase. They
contacted us to help locate alternatives. I come to this list out of
respect for your opinions, and I bring two questions;

   1. how many of you have some form of disaster recovery plan in place and
roughly what does it cost?, and,

   2. do you have an off-site plan covering a major disaster (fire, flood,
etc.), and if so, roughly what does that cost?

I'll keep a running tab of responses and post them in a week or so.
