We used to have a docuprint that worked on 3k, until it died and was
uneconomic to repair....
Send us your npconfig set up. You can ping it from HP ok? SNMP on or off?
Can you browse to it from a pc on same network?

Subject: [HP3000-L] network printing to a Xerox laserjet
Has anyone been able to spool to a Xerox Docucolor 2240? I don't use a 3rd
party network spooling package, just NPCONFIG. I get this message when I
try to spool a file to it. I've tried files with & without carriage
control.
5:06/284/Output spooler, LDEV #43: Cannot communicate with network printer.
Check network xport config, NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS, xport and links started
status,intermediate network, and printer status.
