No, I'd say the OpenMPE community hasn't given up on HP giving up MPE, it seems
a continuation in the long silent (as far as we've seen) [hopefully]
progress/process of getting HP to release Cinderella to a new home. The OpenMPE
board has had to sign non-disclosure agreements so seemingly tight that they
can't even update the members of the progress....

I said before, I'll say it again: in the end, HP may have to be embarassed into
releasing MPE.

There was recent news in the 3000 Newswire that Strobe Data is working on an
emulator project - so there is some hope. Of course the best situation is for
HP to let Cinderella leave the corporate nest (nod to Alredo - :).
