Technically, no. However, the "pieces" necessary to connect INTO your HP3000
from other machines are built-in. The "pieces" that allow you to DSLINE out
(or DSCOPY or RFA) to another system FROM your 3000 are still part of the
purchased product "NS/3000".

Note though that you can now accomplish almost all these "outbound" services
with the "arpa" equivalents (telnet/ftp) that are bundled with the OS.
