One thing, your Support Link modem MUST be moved from ldev 100 to ldev
21. If it is not on ldev 21, we at the Response Center cannot connect
as remote console for troubleshooting. Older CIO systems did not have
the MFIO card and so the modem was connected through the console mux
to a DTC port, usually ldev 100, but this is not true of the newer
systems. Ldev 21 is configured using the "USER PORT" function key when
you enter NMMGR (OPEN CONFIG, DTS, Go To UserPort). Ldev 21 is used by
convention, the Line Speed should be 2400, the Modem Type should be 1
(U.S.), and the Parity should be NONE.

You may also need to reconfigure PREDICTIVE to tell it to use ldev 21
for dial-out.

If you have any problems with this, contact your CE who should have
set it up this way to begin with.
