Gary,

I am no longer subscribed to the newsgroup, so I didn't see this. It does
warrant a response however, so please let James and the group know that
while I was busily at work on the walls of the cave, Mr. Reynolds was
fermenting his mashed berries for an entirely different purpose! :>)

You were LUCKY! What I wouldn't have given to have classes on a PC. When I
started, computers were as big a the Empire State Building, and had ONE bit
of main memory. We had to write real tight code. The only input devices
available were rock tablets that we had to chisel holes through, and if you
dropped your stack of rock tablets, you would have to spend weeks re-sorting
them to the proper order. But we were grateful for what we had.

Talking about not being on a TEAM, I am the only one that knows more than
how to run their own screens. I only have an AA in Computer Programming
that the school I went to considered it a business degree so the I took
mainly business courses and classes on the PC. The only things that I used
the HP for was Powerhouse and Cobol. And they did not even offer the
Advanced Powerhouse class. So I am very used to looking all of the System
stuff up in manuals. (how fun!!!)
