Oracle and AllBase both provide C Language pre-compilers with their released
software on MPE.  We've brought UNIX originating C code with embedded Oracle
SQL to MPE and pre-compiled without problems.  More frequently we use the
Oracle pre-compiler (Pro*C 1.6 or 2.0) on HP-UX, the HP-UX C compiler and
transfer the objects to MPE for linking and execution.
 
Note that there are differences between Oracle's embedded SQL and AllBase's
embedded SQL.  Some porting, relatively trivial, is needed to move one to the
other.
