Say, do any of you know (and are still using BASIC 3000) if the DATE$
function was ever fixed with Y2K?
-----------------------------------------------------------
According to HP

Patch BSIJXA4A for BASIC/V

Problem:
The BASIC/V interpreter DAT$ function returns incorrect results
if the current date is past the turn of the century. For example,
if the current date is:
   SUN, FEB 19, 2004, 4:24 PM
BASIC
10 print dat$(1,27)
RUN
SUN, FEB 19, 19:4, 4:24 PM

Fixed in version A.00.26 of interpreter

Patch BBRJXC2A for Business BASIC

Problem:
The Business BASIC interpreter aborts if the year is > 1999 and
the DATE$ function is called with no parameters or a parameter of
0 or 1.

For example:
>print dat3000$(1,27)
MON, MAR 1, 2004, 1:30 PM
>print date$(-2)
2004/03/01
>print date$(1)
Internal consistency check # 617 failed. Report the problem to HP.
Unsuccessful building of DATE$ string.

Fixed in version A.00.16 of interpreter
