a number of us have web sites with command files and such. one I know of
(;-) is:
http://invent3k.external.hp.com/~MGR.GARVERIC/
but (off the top of my head...) most all the software/support vendors have
similar sites such as
- allegro (ok, fine, so I'm a bit biased ;-)
- beechglen
- robelle
- etc...
I know chris bartram has an extensive site and john dunlop(am I mixing up my
brits?) does too. I'm sure they'll chime in with their links.
and don't forget jazz: http://jazz.external.hp.com!
in donna's opinion -- instead of LAMP (linux, apache, mysql and perl) -- we
have PAMI (perl, apache, mpe and image :-). with the mpe-oriented perl
modules, you can do cgi stuff without too much difficulty. before everyone
screams, yes -- there other solutions, but free is 'a good thing'.
do we have meetings?
oh -- we used to have wonderful meetings! we could fill convention centers
and rejoice in our mpe geekiness. but those days seem to be few and far
between now. keep listening, however, 'cause you never know if someone will
suddenly feel a strong need to socialize with real humans ;-) - d
