As a follow-up to a previous thread where I sounded a bit more skeptical...

A test of OpenMarket web server, perl5.002 and the commonly available and
widely used CGI.pm perl add-on library module was successful, and provided
some *very* surprising response time! The supplied example form script
(in the comments in CGI.pm) worked flawlessly.

This has considerably boosted my optimism and faith in magic :-)

The only remaining problem with perl at this point is Socket.pm, but you
really don't need that for doing web forms or cgi scripts with perl.
(Any perl/unix gurus with any ideas about the Socket.pm problem can
contact me directly if you have any ideas :-) ).

PS - Yes, I hope to get a perl5.002 binary available soon.
