We use QueryCalc from AICS to do this using networked laser printers.
Assuming that your laser printer is connected to the HP3000, you can use
QueryCalc to do what you want.  Also, assuming that the laser print
understands some PostScript, although I'm not 100% sure of the PostScript
requirement.  Besides QueryCalc is a lot more than a forms handler.
