Was: "HP Video Conferences"

Well, confess I didn't take time to sit down and think
through a detailed proposal before I fired that off....
Mostly I was thinking of the MPE / Database and
Management Roundtables, wondering if there was
some way there could be, say, a site back East
where people who for whatever reason couldn't
make the long trip out West and back for the week
could participate.... I know air time is expensive....

Hmmmm...... A slight variation on the theme, that
you just made me think of: If not a live video conf,
how about just taping the Roundtables and making
that available on video cassette ?? Would think
that would be a whole bunch cheaper than a live
video conference.... Would anybody be interested
in the roundtables on tape ??....... Maybe even a
couple of the bigger SIGs, like MPE, UNIX, and
IMAGE ??

...... Of course making an un-edited version of the
IPROF roundtables available to the user base might
take some political courage on HP's part; you never
know what those cantankerous, ornery users might
say........... ;-)

Just thinking out loud here...
Thanks for responding,
