backrest is from Tymlabs or whatever it ended up being, not from Robelle.
You restore the backrest program to your 3000, run backrest, re-mount the
tape and from then on inside backrest you have restore command available
to get the files off the tape. Essentially, backrest is the only readable
program seen on the tape using MPE restore, and backrest gives you access
to the actual compressed store file.
