You can indeed do this on the fly, at least the 3000 part. Make your
changes in NMMGR, being sure to validate *everything*, and then get out
and do:
:NETCONTROL UPDATE=INTERNET;NET=LAN1 (or whatever your lan is called)
If you made changes to individual DTC's LAN information (ip address,
default gateway or DNS server), you probably also need to do:
:DTCCNTRL FUNC=SHUTDOWN;FORCED=Y
:DTCCNTRL FUNC=RESTART
You will also have to reset all the DTC's to have them download their
new LAN configuration before they will work.
But if you're going to kick everyone off the DTC's by resetting them and
restarting DTS, you may as well reboot anyway, depending on how many
people will be affected.
