Ohmygosh, that's terrible. It appears as if LookOut 97 ((c) Lars Appel,)
is substituting "RE:" for "OT:" and I didn't catch it. Does this mean I
can no longer answer questions?
(A quick check shows my assumption about replacing OT with RE to be indeed
correct. On the plus side, LookOut does not add an RE to an existing RE,
as opposed to some other mail clients, thus giving us: "RE: RE: RE: RE: OT
..." It would seem that LookOut only wants to deal with one tag in the
subject line. If there is at least one and the first one is not RE, it
gets changed to RE:.)
Might I be so bold as to suggest we do away with prefixes altogether and
concentrate on meaningful subject lines instead? The current one is a
perfect description of the message.
