Subject: FTP'ing Spool Files
Greetings From The Land Of Pleasant Living:
We operate a HP-3000/950 and a HP-3000/935 both using MPE/iX Version 4.0
with ARPA Services installed. I'm trying to FTP a spool file from the
935 to the 950 so that we can print the thing on our fast printer in the
"machine room." Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any method by which
the 950 will recognize the file as a spool file and, when it prints, the
carriage control doesn't operate properly. The printout looks like
GARBAGE IN -- GARBAGE OUT!!
Any words of wisdom?
Thanks in advance!!
This does not use ftp, but I guess if you have arpa services
you can use this too
you should have an account remspool on both systems.
put the commandfile somewhere on the system
use
TRANS spoolfilenumber (wildcards are ok), priority
COMMAND FILE: TRANS.BAT.SYS
