Hi fellow listers,
I spent a lot of time thinking about the subject line of this posting before
sending it. Do I 'OT:' it or not? In the end I decided NOT. I hope you all
agree with my decision.
A few days ago I read an item about HPs own HP3000's, of which there are
~400 of them (if I'm wrong about the number then please correct me, I don't
mind ;), that run a large number of their core applications.
The impression I have, from good/reliable friends who works for them here in
the UK, is that they have not yet done anything about planning their
migration. The info that I have been given is that they are as unsure as the
rest of us on what is the best option to take.
Perhaps they are waiting for us in the "HP3000 Community" to show them the
way out of the problem caused by their 'management' ;>>
regards,
