I keep on promoting FAX/3000 - a solid supported product. Here's a snip from
an email posted to this list a while ago...

<<plug>>
STR Software provides AventX MPE, formerly FAX/3000, for distribution of any
MPE or PC output via fax, e-mail, or print. Our customers are faxing,
e-mailing, and printing documents such as purchase orders, invoices, packing
lists, statements, reports, and more. You no longer need pre-printed forms
or even a forms package with our solution. I am sure we have already
digitized many of the "forms" that you wish to use. With a large installed
base of customers on MPE, UNIX, Linux, and Windows, I am sure that we can
help you. And if migration from MPE is an issue, we have solutions for
nearly all ERP packages with emphasis on Oracle and SAP.

I've also copied Ben Bruno at STR on this email who wrote the above text. i
think that there are a few other HP-3000 based faxing products but this is
the one that I have worked with.
