Hi,

Background - I know virtually nothing about hp3000 network or hardware
problems. Our MPE test system stopped working a few months ago and I've
finally got round to having a look.

I can boot it up and type commands on the console.
I can ping it from my PC.
When I telnet to it from my PC I get the message -
"Can't initiate new sessions now. (CIERR 80)"
I think I've had that before and I fixed it with a LIMIT command but I'm not
sure that it's the same problem as now I can't ping it and I can't even type
commands at the console - it just hangs. I can hit ctrl-B and re-boot it
but that's about all.

It's as if network activity breaks it or something - I've no idea really.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Peter
