I believe I have a 2GB drive (2490) in a 6000 enclosure that is going bad.
It appears the SCSI channel is being flooded by the bad drive. It has
locked our system up several times. Is there a method to test the
individual drives as they are not on hardware support. It's on a test user
volume. I have since removed the SCSI cable from the SCSI adapter on the
system.
