Here is another issue I have with PP5!

Problem 1.

In Quick (7.29.C7 Level 999) use the following;

   SCREEN TESTSO &
   MENU
   COMMAND "SHOWOUT" LABEL "SHOWOUT"
   COMMAND "SHOWJOB" LABEL "SHOWJOB"
   COMMAND "TESTSHOW" LABEL "TESTSHOW"
   BUILD

The 'SHOWOUT' command produces an error!  I backed out PP5 to PP4 and proved
PP5 to be the problem.


Problem 2.

The locking strategy used by SQL/Allbase and my Oracle Gateway must have
changed. We now can create a deadlock by simply beginning an update via the
gateway and have another application on the HP attempt update the database
also.

Attempting to UNDEDLOK pins causes the Listener portion to incur 100% CPU
and once even caused a system abort. Reboot is the only fix for this.
