: Likewise for McAfee, but rather than telephone support (which I hate,
: especially the queues) it was an online "chat" format (which I like, a
: lot!). I think it was one of those liveperson.com supported things

Network Associates To Invest $15 M In India, Develop McAfee
"BANGALORE: Computer security provider Network Associates Inc on
Thursday launched its Indian software development centre and said it
plans to invest $15 million in the unit by the end of 2003.
The centre will initially develop the firm's flagship McAfee
anti-virus products.
The Santa Clara, California-based company said in a statement it plans
to employ 100 engineers in its Indian centre this year.
It joins Texas Instruments, Motorola and many software majors in
setting up similar centres in India, tapping into the nation's army of
software and engineering workers, available at sharply lower wages
than their overseas counterparts."
