We certainly got our money's worth out of that one! Raven is now a
256Mb 433Mhz Dell, sporting Listserv 1.8d and the latest LSMTP mail
transport agent.

There is now a http://raven.utc.edu page accessible, or to shortcut to
the web main page http://raven.utc.edu/cgi-bin/wa.exe. From the root
page of HP3000-L (http://raven.utc.edu/archives/hp3000-l.html) you can
not only search the archives as before, but you can also post,
subscribe, unsubscribe, and change your subscription options. Within
the archives, there is now a toolbar-assisted navigation set which

Is the program QEDIT?

If so, when QCTerm or Minisoft send back a CRLF sequence, telnet strips off
the trailing LF. Unfortunately, QEDIT looks for the LF and objects if it
doesn't see it.

The problem has now been fixed at both ends. Robelle fixed the problem at
their end, in QEDIT by allowing you to set a flag when using telnet. The
command is something like:

     set vi ignorelf

If that's not the correct sequence, you can find the appropriate command in
your documentation. The problem has also been fixed on the HP3000, although
you don't have the correcting code yet. The telnet client software on the
HP3000 no longer strips the LF off of a CRLF pair. This change should appear
in MPE/iX 6.0 PP1 or PP2.
